The Year of the Rabbit

The Chinese Culture Center in Albuquerque is hosting a celebration for the Lunar New Year.

Ring in the Year of the Rabbit from 1-2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 22. The event, 427 Adams St. SE, will feature traditional dragon and lion dances, tai chi demonstrations, the Chinese American Citizens Alliance Dance Team, and more. Visit for more information.

Bunnies abound

The Southside Library in Santa Fe will be hosting a Lunar New Year craft session.

The all-ages event will run from 2-4 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 20, and all materials will be provided.

The behind-the-scenes story of the iconic TV show “I Love Lucy” comes to Popejoy Hall with “Lucy Loves Desi.”

The New Mexico Coin-Stamp and Collectible Expo is inviting collectors of all types to come out to the Ramada Plaza, 2020 Menaul Blvd. NE. The three-day event runs noon-6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20; 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21; and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 22.

Tickets are $3 per day or $5 weekend pass at the door.
